Cookie & Storage Policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Ace of Raves uses cookies and similar technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device.

2. Strictly necessary storage

Some storage is needed to provide what you ask for, so it is always on and is not part of the analytics choice. This includes: keeping your shopping bag (a cart identifier held in your browser), security and abuse prevention, and remembering your cookie choice itself (a small record in your browser storing whether you said yes or no, the consent version and the date you chose).

This storage is not used for advertising.

3. Optional analytics (off until you choose)

We would like to understand which designs, pages and games people actually use, so we can improve the site. To do that we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. It is off by default. Nothing from Google Analytics is loaded, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics request is made unless you press ANALYTICS ON in the Sound Check panel (or turn it on later through Cookie settings).

If you opt in, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<property id>) and receives usage events such as which design or game you opened, the garment type you looked at, your approximate device class (phone, tablet or desktop) and how a game ended. We do not send your name, email address, order or customer details, full page addresses containing query strings, or challenge-link data. Cookie names and lifetimes are set by Google; see Google's own documentation for current details.

The purpose is to measure and improve the site. We do not use advertising features, do not build advertising audiences, and do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or remarketing tools. If that ever changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

5. Third-party checkout and services

When you leave to buy from our shop at shop.aceofraves.co.uk, or use a third-party service such as Shopify checkout, that service may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to provide its service under its own policies.

6. Managing your choices

You can change your mind at any time: use Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page) to turn analytics on or off. Turning it off stops future analytics events, prevents analytics from loading on later visits and removes Google Analytics cookies we are able to remove from our own site. We will ask again if we make a material change to analytics. You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the shop from working correctly.

7. Contact

Questions about our use of cookies or similar technologies can be sent to ace@aceofraves.co.uk.
